About

Over the years, my husband and I have volunteered with various animal rescues, driven by our deep love for horses and dogs. Upon retiring in a small community facing a severe dog overpopulation crisis—where many residents couldn't afford spay and neuter services—we began assisting a local organization that helped find homes for unwanted dogs and puppies while ensuring adult dogs were spayed and neutered. It soon became apparent that there was a significant shortage of foster homes, largely because many people struggled to cover the costs of caring for a pet. Meanwhile, the community was also overwhelmed with cats, producing litter after litter. In response to this pressing need, we decided to establish our own rescue, directing 100% of donations toward supporting foster homes for these dogs and cats. Additionally, we realized that many of our friends in the military faced challenges when deployed overseas, often leaving them with no option but to surrender their pets to Animal Control. Consequently, we are committed to finding foster homes for military families and covering related expenses. Our ultimate goal is to prevent the euthanasia of any dog or cat due to a lack of available foster homes.
